Alf Turner’s “Best of British” sausage wins coveted award

To mark the launch of British Sausage Week BPEX the industry’s governing body held an event at London’s Lanesborough Hotel to announce the winners of their annual competition to find Britain’s Best Sausage.

In an independently judged blind taste test ,which included all of the major brands,  Alf Turner’s “Best of British” recipe won the Gold Award in the Branded Sausage Category and MD Paul Turner was delighted to receive the award from rock legend Noddy Holder. Paul said “As a small shop we have limited marketing budgets so these awards really help us achieve national recognition”
